Narrative Text : The piano

Narrative text: The Piano
The piano (since my point of view) is one of the most complete musical instruments. It has 88 keys, and a very large record. In Consequence, Piano also is difficult to play. There are few pianists who can play it very well at a short age. Usually, it takes long time to have a great domain. Professional pianist often dedicate at least eight hours (at day) to the practice in piano.

In this instrument, any kind of music can be played (tango, salsa, academic music, rock and roll, etc). Its “piano” comes from the range of the sound amplitude. In the piano, a musician can play since a very soft sound until a very strong sound. In Italia, where it was created by Bartolomeo Christophori, the word “piano” means “soft”, and this instrument is called “Piano-forte”.

Most of the academic composers have at least one Piano Concert (This is a kind of composition for orchestra and a piano soloist). This instrument is so complete that, when an Orchestra conductor needs to practice or make an audition in a small room, there are reductions of any opus for two pianos.
